Cloud-based Supervision System for Enhancing Efficiency and Effectiveness of The Private School in Thailand

ABSTRACT: 

The purpose of this research is to develop the cloud-based supervision system for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of the private school in Thailand to facilitate the teacher supervision process. The research design uses R&D process which based on the need of teachers, supervisors, and principals from 84 private schools in Thailand. The data collects throughout 2 academic years, before and during Covid pandemic. The educational experts and programmer create and develop the system in 3 phrases, R&D (1) system testing before Covid, R&D (2) and R&D (3) system testing during Covid outbreak. The result reveals the top three pain points of supervision system consist of data loss, lack of teachers’ motivation and lack of professional development monitoring. Based on the results, the cloud-based supervision system is developed by technological integration for providing solutions to the limitations. The cloud-based supervision system which work on web-based system has additional menus to complement the supervision process such as teacher profile, supervision evaluations, classroom photo, teacher reflection, supervisor’s suggestion. In addition, the individual data processing is coded and reported as the digital file which send to the related email automatically. Thus, this system can help the school to collect, analysis and use the supervision data to improve the school plan and strategy for enhancing teachers’ motivation and professional growth definitely. Moreover, teachers, supervisors, and principals satisfy with the cloud-based supervision system at overall. Comparatively, the principals were more satisfy with the system than others.
