What Editorial Members/Reviewers Do

Editors

You will evaluate the quality and relevance of incoming submissions for the journals published by Diamond Scientific Publishing. Based on your judgment, you will then send a manuscript to the reviewers in the specific field or notify the application of the rejection. You will also evaluate incoming book proposals and, upon positive decision, will work closely with your authors to develop and finalize the book.

As an editor, you will be expected to share and promote calls for papers as well as the manuscripts and books published by Diamond Scientific Publishing within your network of peers.

Reviewers

You will review the manuscripts assigned to you by our editors. Diamond Scientific Publishing adheres to the double-blind peer review process, which is why you will be reviewing papers based entirely on their merits. Based on your expertise and knowledge in the field, you will provide authors with detailed feedback on their submission that will guide them as they work on improving their manuscript.

As an reviewer, you will be expected to share and promote calls for papers as well as the manuscripts and books published by Diamond Scientific Publishing within your network of peers.

Eligibility for Editorial and Reviewer Boards

You can apply to become a member of the Reviewer board if:

  • You hold a Ph.D. or have equivalent proven experience in one of the fields that we cover
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a specific area following your Ph.D./Master’s studies
  • You have published at least 5 papers in international publications

You can apply to become a member of the editorial board if:

  • You hold a Ph.D. or have equivalent proven experience in one of the fields that we cover
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a specific area following your Ph.D./Master’s studies
  • You have published at least 5 papers in international publications
