Presenting A Model for Choosing the Best Supplier for Epoxy Paint and Resin Production Equipment Using FCOCOSO, FPSI, And FAHP Techniques

ABSTRACT:

The paint and epoxy resin industry is considered one of the key pillars of industrial and scientific development in today’s world.
(Smith & Brown ,2020)Selecting appropriate suppliers for paint and resin production equipment is a critical factor influencing production performance and overall efficiency in this industry. In this study, based on expert opinions and considering the manufacturers’ requirements, five main criteria were identified for supplier selection. The Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) was employed to determine the weights of the criteria, and the resulting weights were used as the input weight vector W_{sj} in the FPSI model. Finally, the FCOCOSO method was applied to select the best industrial equipment supplier among four available alternatives in the market, taking into account the specific conditions and needs of the decision-maker.
