Personalized Financial Learning through Ai-driven Role Play: Connecting Health and Wealth
Nilesh Patil, Bharat Patil
ABSTRACT:
This article presents a novel method for teaching financial literacy through simulation-based learning which is complementary to classroom teaching that incorporates interactive role-play and real-world decision-making. In addition, we include a distinctive feature of this approach, which is the inclusion of both Lifespan (the total number of years a person lives) and Health span (the years lived in good health), as integral parts of financial planning. Learners are guided to think about how financial decisions affect not only wealth accumulation but also long-term health and overall quality of life. A practical new method is making financial education relevant to people’s everyday lives. Instead of listening to lectures, participants work together to solve real-world financial puzzles, like creating their first budget, figuring out how to pay down debt, or saving for retirement. Because these activities are tailored to each person’s situation, learners develop problem-solving skills and a true sense of responsibility for their financial well-being. This personal connection makes the lessons memorable and helps build better, long-term habits, giving people the confidence to take control of their financial being, by keeping focus on their Health span and Lifespan.
