Boosting Clil with Erasmus+
Enrique Ruiz Cano
ABSTRACT:
During this event, I will lay out the main benefits of school internationalisation when it comes to implementing SDGs across the curriculum through the English language in both native English speaking countries and other EU nations through CLIL. Subsequently, I will give some practical ideas on how to approach CLIL from different angles integrating the UNSDGs in different EU countries following my recent experience within several Erasmus+ partnership projects. By the same token, I will analyse the concept of ‘culture’ (Schulz 2001; Ellis 2003; Yamada 2019; Kinginger 2013) within CLIL and how internationalisation can help us improve this component of CLIL. I will wrap up the presentation by hammering home to the participants about the importance of getting involved in different EU or international initiatives.
