ABSTRACT:

This paper explores the feasibility and profitability of integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into small and medium-sized educational enterprises (SMEs). While ESG adoption is well-documented in corporate and higher education settings, its application in smaller, profit-driven educational institutions remains underexplored. By analyzing both demand-side and supply-side factors, the study investigates how ESG programs can align with market demands and operational constraints to create sustainable business opportunities. Demand analysis reveals strong interest among high school students and parents, driven by a growing emphasis on sustainability, social responsibility, and enhanced college preparation. On the supply side, the study highlights financial challenges, including course development and resource limitations, but demonstrates how targeted pricing strategies and modular program designs can achieve profitability. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining survey data with cost analyses to assess market potential and break-even timelines. Findings emphasize that SMEs can leverage their flexibility to implement tailored ESG programs, offering tiered pricing models to meet diverse consumer needs while maintaining financial viability. Recommendations include integrating modular ESG curricula, utilizing online platforms for cost efficiency, and adopting multi-channel marketing strategies to engage parents and students. The study concludes that ESG programs not only address educational and ethical interests but also provide a profitable model for SMEs, paving the way for a more sustainable and competitive future in the educational sector.
