Re-conceptualizing Language Teaching Through Artificial Intelligence

ABSTRACT:
The rapid advancement of Artificial intelligence has brought significant changes to the field of language education, bringing new opportunities for more personalized, interactive and data – informed instruction. The present paper studies the integration of AI tools in language acquisition process, with prominent accent to their potential to enhance learner’s involvement, support the language proficiency improvement, and help teachers in instructional planning, design and assessment practices. AI-driven technologies is considered to facilitate individualized learning trajectories, timely corrective feedback and increased exposure to authentic target – language input. At the same time, AI applications facilitate teachers routine pedagogical tasks, allowing learning analytics and informing targeted instructional interventions. Despite the challenges associated with ethical considerations, data privacy and the need for relevant teacher training, the Pedagogical value of AI in language education remain substantial. The paper concludes that when integrated thoughtfully and responsibly, AI tool can definitely complement traditional teaching practices and contribute to more inclusive and effective language learning environment.
