This paper delves into the crucial role of parents in shaping students’ English learning experiences, focusing on the influence of parenting styles. Drawing on the ecological systems theory and family systems theory, the study highlights the significance of the family environment in fostering individual development and social adaptation. Specifically, the paper examines how different parenting styles impact the family atmosphere and educational dynamics, ultimately affecting students’ learning engagement and academic achievement in English education. By exploring the intricate interplay between parental behaviors, family dynamics, and student outcomes, this research sheds light on effective strategies for parents to support and enhance their children’s English learning engagement and performance.
