Umarova Nilufarkhon Makhamadalievna
ABSTRACT:
Today, raising children who are orphaned, and children deprived of parental care, and integrating them into society is one of the most urgent problems in Uzbekistan. Various forms of placement are being implemented by experts to integrate orphans into society such as entrusting children to foster families. The main problem of children when they come to a foster family is their social adjustment, which refers to a person’s adaptation to the social norms of the environment in which he/she exists; because of this adaptation, he/she acquires knowledge and skills for managing his/her own lifestyle. This research’s main goal is to identify the problems of adaptation of children placed with foster families to the family environment and society and to learn ways to solve them.
