Dr. Chinyere Ori Elom, Dr. Ikechukwu Ogeze Ukeje
ABSTRACT:
As a fulcrum of civilisation, adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) through the prism of stakeholder engagement in education methodology is a right step to fully optimise relevance of education especially in a current time when development flow is outrageous. The outrageous nature of development in societal issues was exemplified by punctuated pandemic situations in the world, demanding that scientist, researchers and innovators step up and be alive in providing solution to constantly rising issues. In Nigeria, COVID 19 particular brought academic activities to a standstill attesting to the rudimentary level of the educational system in appropriation and appreciation of dividends of technology and proactivity in exploring innovative solutions to addressing education methodology problems. Against this backdrop, we are carefully embarking on a purposeful innovation of sound and redefined participatory education governance methodology through AI. From our research over the years, our findings have gathered momentum, and we are using this platform to unveil our contributions, which we entitled “Open Campus Model” (OCM). OCM is a set of connected interesting ideas bundled together and calibrated to enhance teaching and learning across tertiary institutions through AI and stakeholder supported education governance. It is a platform for unbroken data sharing, interaction, collaborative learning, learning history retention, and limitless access to information and academic contributions across institutions in chosen regions. Our contributions will draw from both our present and former research output to ensure a very robust, updated and extended endeavor.
