Narcissism, Identity (Ies), And Sexuality(Ies) Among Transfeminine Individuals Engaging In Sex Work

Claire Sentandreu, Romuald Jean Dit Pannel

ABSTRACT:

My research explores the psychological processes underlying transidentity and the intimate sexuality of transfeminine individuals engaging in prostitution. Using a clinical, psychoanalytic, and phenomenological approach, I focus on how gender identity is experienced and constructed, as well as how these individuals navigate vulnerability, social marginalization, and the complexities of sexual expression. The study combines qualitative methods, including therapeutic interviews and projective tests, to understand both the inner psychic life and the lived realities of this population.
