ABSTRACT: 

This study is part of a PhD project being conducted in the Saudi context. This research seeks to explore and develop an understanding of creativity and Creative Pedagogical in gifted classes in primary schools in Saudi Arabia. Particularly in the context of political and educational developments in Saudi Arabia. This research used qualitative methods to collect data from teachers, academic supervisors, and gifted students. This research asked the participants about their perceptions of creativity and Creative Pedagogical in the gifted classes. Also, what are the opportunities and Barriers to Creative Pedagogical practices in gifted classes, and what is the role of new curricula in the KSA to help enhance creativity and Creative Pedagogical practices for gifted students?

The qualitative data explained the participants’ perceptions of creativity and Creative Pedagogical practices in gifted classes. It also showed a group of categories related to the barriers and opportunities that face Creative Pedagogical practices in the gifted classes, as well as the participant’s perceptions of the opportunities and barriers that they face in the new curricula about the gifted and the suitability of these curricula for the gifted student. This study indicates the need for further research on the barriers facing the application of Creative Pedagogical with gifted female students in the primary stage.
