ABSTRACT:
This study shows the benefits of Google Colab or Colaboratory, basically an executable document to write, run and share code written in Python. A course to learn to program was given to eight students from the electronic engineering career from the Universidad de Ciencias y Humanidades. The course was made up of 17 weekly sessions, each lasting a total of 3 hours. The course was focused on teaching virtually control flow statements and some Python libraries by using Google Colab. A survey was administered to the students and they showed a general agreement that Goggle Colab was a great tool in the Cloud and they indicated that they would like to keep learning more advanced Python using this tool.
