Research on Patriotism Education Based on a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind

ABSTRACT: 

In the context of economic globalization, people all over the world are looking forward to peaceful development. The President of the People’s Republic of China put forward the value concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind, and promoted all countries to work together. Based on this concept of peaceful development and from the perspective of patriotism education, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the sense of national identity, nationalism, patriotism and patriotism education in different countries, and finds that some ideas in patriotism education, especially nationalism, have serious conflicts with common development. In order that different countries can better seek common ground while reserving differences and develop together without affecting patriotism education. The article puts forward corresponding suggestions and strategies from three aspects of cognition, emotion and educational means, which can not only promote the rational development of patriotism education, but also lay a foundation for building the values of a community with a shared future for mankind.
