Durand Clovis Fiako Kameni
ABSTRACT:
Education plays a fundamental role in sustainable development and social transformation. It contributes significantly to human capital development, innovation, and economic growth. The objective of this study is to examine how education policy and pedagogical innovation contribute to improving learning quality and promoting sustainable development, particularly in developing countries.
This research adopts a qualitative methodology based on the analysis of scientific literature, institutional reports, and international education policy frameworks. The study focuses on the relationship between education quality, innovative teaching methods, and socio-economic development. Findings show that learner-centered approaches, continuous professional development for teachers, and the integration of educational technologies positively influence student engagement, learning outcomes, and academic performance.
The study also highlights the importance of effective education policies that promote equal access to quality education, support curriculum development, and encourage innovation in teaching practices. Strengthening research in education and promoting international scientific collaboration are essential for improving education systems and addressing contemporary learning challenges.
The results demonstrate that education remains a key driver for reducing inequalities, supporting innovation, and promoting inclusive and sustainable development. The study recommends strengthening education policies and investing in pedagogical innovation to improve learning quality and support knowledge-based societies.
