Social Media Addiction among Youths

ABSTRACT: 

Concern about social media addiction is still growing continuously and disturbing both the family and society. Some scholars described it as an addiction that overcame other addiction types (Aparicio-Martínez et al.,2020). This makes this scientific paper worthy of consideration. Especially since addiction to social networking sites and their risks has become the focus of attention of many academic studies at present.In this paper, I will attempt to highlight the issue of social media addiction among youths and clarify the debate among researchers about whether it is a real addiction or not as well as highlight its causes and resulting symptoms.
