Hind Mestouri, and Abdellatif Benlamkadem
ABSTRACT:
This article presents an intelligent home that integrates advanced technologies to offer the user optimum levels of comfort, safety and energy efficiency. The main aim is to create an interconnected, automated home environment capable of meeting the needs of its occupants intuitively and efficiently. To achieve this, various components will be installed, such as temperature and movement sensors, control devices, automatic watering, security systems and energy management systems. The aim is to demonstrate the benefits and potential of smart homes, marking an important step towards the future of connected living. In this project, we have built a prototype of a real smart home, controlled and monitored, using the microcontroller. The system includes several functionalities, such as automatic watering, smoke detection, motion detection, lighting control, secure door opening, etc. The object of this work is to design a home automation system that allows the control of home appliances in a simple and less expensive way, to provide comfort, safety and energy savings. The results show that the system works properly, it allows the control of several functions at the same time, simple to realize with low cost and remote control.
