A Study of the Attitude in Hearing Disabled (using Hearing Aid) and Normal Children Towards their Social Environment and its Relationship with Emotional Stability and Anxiety Level

ABSTRACT:
A study conducted in which the emotional stability and anxiety level among hearing disabled children and normal children doesn’t have significant differences towards their social environment. There is an inverse relationship between anxiety level and emotional stability level. Anxiety is psychological condition in which an individual found himself in a unpleasant state which is accompanied by somatic complaints. It is a state of uneasiness and worry accompanied by muscular tension, restlessness and fatigue. On contrary, Neuroticism is one of Big Five Higher order personality traits in which individual experiences calm, less prone to emotional breakdown. According to theory, neuroticism is caused by insufficient buffers against unconscious anxiety. Parenting influences the emotional development of children and helps to support in their confidence and growth of many areas. With the extension of studies, it has been showed that there is no significant difference in anxiety levels between hearing disabled using hearing aid) children and normal children. Studies showed that there will be no significant correlation between anxiety level and emotional stability among children and normal children. Another, studies proposed that there will be no difference of respondents in attitude towards their social environment. Studies 3, it showed that there will be no difference of respondents in attitude towards their social environment. On contrary, higher anxiety level shows lower emotional stability in hearing disabled (using hearing aid) children.
