Ian S. McGowan

ABSTRACT:

Upto now, the Caribbean region was lacking of a statistical model to sufficiently measure its human capital. A three pronged regression model of the human development index was proposed considering the variables of globalization and cultural diversity. Two of the three hypotheses failed rendering the globalization index not significant but showing that the variable of cultural diversity was highly significant in explaining human development in the region
