“Point of View” as Decomposition Approach of Cryptography Technology Implementation in Latvia

Inara Opmane, Rihards Balodis

ABSTRACT:

The article describes a methodological approach to maintain the state of the art documentation of the implementation of quantum cryptography solutions in Latvia. Secure quantum communication system QKD (quantum key distribution) can be considered a long-term and extensive practice of introducing innovative technologies in the country. Long-term projects change dynamically over time, but the challenge is to maintain an adequate state of the art documentation of this project development. The methodology offers to fix the top-level structure of a document as a point of view as a complex system decomposition model with the often used point of view system description in practice: client point of view, use case, industry point of view, technological point of view. A description of the implementation of quantum cryptography in Latvia is being revealed more widely as the point of view approach.
