A Rare Umayyad Fals of Harran Mint Shows the Image of Caliph Abdul Malik bin Marwan

ABSTRACT:
This research investigates and publishes extremely rare bronze Harran mint Umayyad fals that shows the image of Caliph Abdul Malik bin Marwan. This fals held in the private collection of Mr. Osama Abu Ahmed in Syria and it has not been published or mentioned at any modern scientific publications or any other published source of its type. The fals scientifically and accurately described in terms of its overall shape and the texts of writings which have been compared to the other Umayyad coins. This fals is considered a significant addition to the history of Islamic coins and the Umayyad in particular.
