The Theory of Multienvironments: An Epistemological Revolution in The Understanding of Human Learning
Bryan Andrés Quintero Herrera, Yuly Vanessa Dávila Muñoz
ABSTRACT:
This article presents an analysis of the Theory of Multi-Environments, a Colombian theoretical proposal that radically redefines the understanding of learning by recognizing the systemic influence of multiple environments. Grounded in elements of construct ivism and Darwinian evolution, the theory identifies eight categories known as environmental spheres, which govern the individual’s learning process. This multidimensional approach, necessary due to the inherent complexity of the educational phenomenon, not only offers new pathways for research in the cognitive and behavioral sciences but also proposes a paradigmatic model capable of transforming the way educational processes are conceived and designed. The developers of the theory argue that an in-depth investigation of each environment and its influences could initiate a revolution with global implications.
