Evaluating the Quality of Pedagogical Open Educational Resources Videos for Education and Innovation in E-Learning
Nada Zgoud
ABSTRACT:
This research is part of the evaluation of Open Educational Resources (OER), with particular attention to the pedagogical videos available on the TELMID TICE platform. It is integrated into a broader project that aims to examine the impact of flipped pedagogy on students’ results, particularly in the teaching of science at middle and high school.
At the heart of this research, pedagogical capsules occupy a predominant place, as they constitute a widely used teaching tool by teachers, especially within the framework of flipped pedagogy. During the Covid-19 pandemic, these videos played an essential role in ensuring pedagogical continuity.
The research explores the practical application of open educational resources, in particular video capsules, highlighting their use by teachers either autonomously or under the guidance of educational institutions.
With the aim of improving the quality of educational videos, this study proposes an evaluation grid integrating pedagogical and technical criteria essential to consider during their creation…
After establishing evaluation grids for the implementation of educational video capsules, we analyzed capsules available on the Telmid Tice platform in order to evaluate their level of optimization and their capacity to foster learning.
The results of this research confirm that the design of educational video capsules requires deep reflection and necessitates pedagogical and technical training before the realization of the shooting.
