ABSTRACT:

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the integration of ESG principles into the insurance industry of Uzbekistan. It examines
the theoretical foundation of ESG as a new paradigm for risk management. Based on an analysis of the regulatory environment and the operational activities of local insurers, systemic barriers and strategic opportunities are identified.
A key outcome of the work is the development of a phased plan for implementing ESG principles for all stakeholders: the regulator, insurance companies,
the state, and international partners. It is substantiated that ESG
is not an additional burden, but a powerful driver for sustainable growth, diversification of the product range, and enhancement of the global competitiveness of Uzbekistan’s insurance market.
