Integrating Sustainability into Human Resource Management: Strategies and Outcomes

ABSTRACT:
Sustainability has become increasingly important in organizational practices in recent years due to both regulatory pressures and the growing recognition of its long-term benefits. This study investigates the intersection of sustainability and Human Resource Management (HRM) and looks at how sustainable HR practices can contribute to organizational success. By using a multi-faceted approach, this research examines various methods for integrating sustainability into HRM, such as recruitment, training and development, performance management, and employee engagement. Through reviewing the literature this study emphasizes the crucial role HR professionals play in promoting sustainable practices within organizations. The results indicate that integrating sustainability into HRM not only enhances organizational reputation and compliance but also boosts employee motivation, retention, and overall performance. This research offers practical insights for HR practitioners and organizational leaders seeking to encourage a sustainable and adaptable workforce.
