Enhancing Women Entrepreneurship Through Digital Startups- A Study of Afghanistan

ABSTRACT:
TEnhancing women entrepreneurship indicates an important role through which women can access to financial resources, opportunities, and decision-making power to improve their social and economic status and promote their basic rights. In Afghanistan, traditional and cultural Obstacles often restrict women’s mobility and participation in the workforce, so empowering women through entrepreneurship, particularly digitalized startups have emerged as a promising solution. In this research we will analyze how to enhance women entrepreneurship through education, skill development in digital startups, and providing financial support, enabling women to adopt digital tools, innovative business models, and achieve sustainable business growth.
This research will be fully women-oriented research and primary data will collect from women and women entrepreneurs through a structured questionnaire designed, to know their experiences, challenges, and perceptions towards startup businesses. Secondary data will be collected from reports and publications from national and international journals. The research will analyze how startup ventures, especially digital platforms, can strengthening women entrepreneurs to operate and manage businesses with their house hold tasks. Furthermore, the study will measure the challenges women face while running businesses in a male dominant society, such as lack of financial support, limited digital literacy, social restrictions, and will propose practical recommendations to mitigate these barriers.
By analyzing above mechanism, the findings are expected to provide valuable suggestions for Afghan women entrepreneurs, government, policymakers, human rights advocates, UN Women, and international organizations dedicated to gender equality. Moreover, the study seeks to demonstrate how digital entrepreneurship can serve as a transformative tool for empowering Afghan women and fostering sustainable socio-economic development.
