Education For Creativity in The Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

ABSTRACT:
Education for creativity has become a central goal in preparing learners for the challenges of the twenty-first century. Traditional schooling often limits creativity through standardization and rote learning (Robinson, 2011). Contemporary approaches emphasize inquiry-based and interdisciplinary learning (Craft, 2005; Beghetto & Kaufman, 2014). In the age of artificial intelligence (AI), creativity gains even greater importance, as automation highlights the uniquely human capacities for imagination and ethical judgment (Florida, 2019; Schleicher, 2023). Education must therefore cultivate creative confidence and adaptive collaboration with intelligent technologies, positioning creativity as a core competency for innovation and social progress (Runco & Acar, 2012).
