ABSTRACT:

This paper examines the prevalence, patterns, and socio-cultural factors influencing addiction, focusing on substances like alcohol, cannabis, and opioids. Through a case study approach, it explores the impact on health, social cohesion, and economic development. Findings suggest a complex interplay of factors necessitating tailored interventions for effective mitigation.
