Policy Of Implementing Food Security Strategies in Non – Food Centers

ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this study is to find a food security strategy in areas that are not the main food producer, especially in West Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan Indonesia. As for the basis of the theory is the Welfare State inspired by Utilitarian philosophy, argues that the state is responsible for guaranteeing the welfare of society. Indonesia as one of the countries that adheres to the Welfare State as stated in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Research Methods are used with a qualitative approach with SWOT analysis (strength, Weaknes, Opportunity, Threats) results of qualitative and SWOT analysis, several strategies are obtained to increase resilience Household food cooperation, collaboration with various parties including universities, private sector, government and between governments, institutional strengthening and guaranteed healthy trade between regions, between countries and nations and increase access to infrastructure, increasing people’s purchasing power. The impression of this research is to strengthen the role of the village government in improving household food security.
