ABSTRACT:

We live today in an age of revolutionary changes, thanks to digital platforms that have altered the ways in which creative content is conceived, disseminated, and consumed. Global reach is now possible for creators through platforms like Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, and Patreon, which enables them to circumvent traditional value chains. AI and AR are some of the driving forces of this change, as they render better personalization, more efficiency, and active audience engagement. The purpose of this research is to investigate both aspects of the coin regarding digital platforms, assessing how they can be used to stimulate growth, boost creativity and global cooperation while also discussing issues such as dominance of markets, informational hazards such as biases, and sociocultural oppressions. The COVID-19 pandemic also brought about the digitalization of various creative industries, with Zoom and Twitch, among other mediums, used to host events that helped keep cultural production going as lockdowns were introduced. Referring to TikTok and Patreon, the research examines how such technologies will enhance emerging and creative business model frameworks and interesting facets. Nonetheless, some issues remain outstanding including appropriate pay, easy access to content for some sources who are oppressed, and the ecosystem. According to the conclusions, there is a need for the protection of small creators, the therapeutic use of AI technologies, and further investments in environmentally friendly technologies. This research aspires to extend the debate on balancing equity-oriented and environmentally friendly sustainable innovation in the fast changing creative industries.
