Chandad Siham, Rochdane Hanane
ABSTRACT:
In a competitive job market where performance is paramount, well-being at work has increasingly become a crucial strategic issue for human resources managers (HRMs) regarding employee performance and retention. This study aims to explore the multifaceted relationship between employee well-being and organizational performance while reconciling these two vital aspects. This challenge is exacerbated by a widening gap between employee expectations and corporate practices, leading to potential disengagement and decreased morale. After underscoring the significance of this research and summarizing key theoretical contributions to the concept of well-being at work, we will detail the comprehensive methodology, results, and main conclusions derived from a qualitative study employing a designated research model. This study investigates HRMs’ perceptions of well-being at work and their understanding of its intricate connection to performance within the Moroccan context. Ultimately, our findings will provide valuable insights into enhancing employee well-being, which is essential for improving organizational effectiveness and fostering a more engaged workforce.
