ABSTRACT:

This study investigates the implementation of specific career guidance methodologies within higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. Recognizing the critical role of effective career support in enhancing graduate employability and aligning educational outcomes with labor market demands in a rapidly transforming Uzbek economy, this research examines the adoption, adaptation, and impact of various career guidance approaches. Through a mixed-methods approach, including surveys of students and career counselors, interviews with university administrators and industry partners, and analysis of existing career service provisions, this study identifies the prevalent methodologies currently in use, the challenges encountered during their implementation, and the perceived effectiveness in fostering student career development. Furthermore, the research explores best practices and offers recommendations for the successful integration of evidence-based career guidance methodologies, tailored to the unique socio-cultural and economic context of Uzbekistan, to ultimately improve graduate outcomes and contribute to national human capital development.
