ABSTRACT:

This study explores the integration of Christian ethics and utilitarianism in moral decisionmaking. We analyze the core principles and values of both frameworks and discuss the challenges and opportunities that arise from the combination of these two approaches. We show that the integration of Christian ethics and utilitarianism offers a rich source of moral decisions by combining the strengths of both approaches and mitigating their weaknesses. We examine how the integration influences the concepts of the greater good, the role of individual conscience, and the relationship between moral principles and practical ethics. Our findings have implications for practical ethics and moral decision-making in various contexts, including personal and professional decision-making. We discuss the significance of integration for the development of moral decision-making strategies and the promotion of moral competence. Our study makes an important contribution to further research in this area and provides a comprehensive analysis of the integration of Christian ethics and utilitarianism. Additionally, we investigate the possible consequences of integration for moral decision-making in various areas, such as medicine, economics, and politics. We also discuss the significance of integration for the development of moral norms and values in societies and cultures. Our study provides a comprehensive and nuanced analysis of the integration of Christian ethics and utilitarianism and makes an important contribution to further research in this area.
