ABSTRACT:
The scientific article outlines a methodology for determining costs associated with accidents, injuries, and illnesses in the enterprise. The research is based on a comprehensive analysis of financial and resource aspects aimed at quantifying and systematizing the costs arising from accidents in the workplace. The methodology includes a detailed breakdown of direct costs, such as medical and insurance expenses, as well as the temporary loss of employees’ ability to work. Special attention is given to the analysis of unforeseen costs, such as increased labor costs and potential legal expenses. The article presents an integrated approach to assessing indirect costs, including reduced productivity, deterioration of the overall working atmosphere, and damage to the company’s reputation. The application of statistical data and modern technologies allows for the consideration of long-term consequences of incidents and provides tools for predicting future costs. The research results offer enterprises more accurate data for the development and implementation of measures to reduce risks and prevent accidents in the workplace. This methodology can serve as a basis for the development of effective risk management and safety strategies in the enterprise.
