Takoua Jendoubi

ABSTRACT:

This paper explores the implementation of group projects in Master of Science (MSc) programs within the field of statistical education, focusing on the experiences and attitudes of students and supervisors. Drawing on data from three distinct reports—a focus group discussion, a preliminary survey, and a detailed survey report—we analyze the qualitative and quantitative insights gathered from students participating in group dissertation projects. The findings highlight the benefits, challenges, and recommendations for improving the group project format in statistical education. The paper concludes with actionable suggestions for supervisors and educators to enhance the effectiveness of group projects in fostering academic and professional growth.
