Linguistic Transformation in the Process of Adapting a Fiction Text (Based On Kazakh Texts)

ABSTRACT:
The scientific article is devoted to the problem of text adaptation in modern linguistics. Before text adaptation, the concepts of text, text linguistics were first defined. This paper reviews the research works of researchers involved in text linguistics and analyses the current problems of text linguistics. An analytical review of the works of research scientists has been carried out. The problem of text adaptation in text linguistics has not lost its relevance, no matter at what stage it is at. Linguistic methods have been used in the scientific article. Special linguistic methods, including the transformation method, were used in the adaptation of fiction texts. The article considers the features of adaptation as a linguistic phenomenon. The main characteristics of the adapted text as one of the secondary text types are given. The basic rules of text adaptation to new conditions of communication are outlined, in particular, in the variant of adaptation of a fiction text to the conditions of linguodidactics. The specificity and significance of the theoretical and practical part of the adapted text in language learning is analysed. The adapted variants are compared with each other to match the degree of expressiveness of the author’s text and its adapted variants. The article deals with the theoretical aspect of text linguistics, the study touches upon the structural system of text. The article discusses the past, present and future of text linguistics.
