Research on the Justiciability of Us Economic Sanctions in The WTO
Since the Second World War, the United States has frequently imposed economic sanctions on other countries, resulting in restrictions on international trade and having a huge impact on the economy of the sanctioned countries. With the US now imposing widespread economic sanctions around the world, affected countries look to relief measures. The WTO dispute settlement mechanism may play a role in normalizing international trade through legal means, to alleviate the adverse effects of economic sanctions.
