ABSTRACT:
The strategic management of processes is a demand in organizations that seek effectiveness and efficiency. The present work seeks to analyze the purchasing process of a service provider company using Petri net to simulate the flow of processes carried out. To this end, it was chosen to sample purchase requests with values above BRL 5,000.00, since they are more complex processes, as soon as they are important to the company. The simulation process relied on a process modeling via BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), for delimitation of activities and identification of analysis points. Then it followed with the simulation of the process through the referred tool of the literature, with evaluations of resources and times of activities. Once the process was simulated, graphs were produced and bottlenecks related to the delay in the steps were identified, followed by suggestions for improvements in view of the efficiency of the purchasing process under study.
