Circular Economy a Brief Literature Review and Implementations
Mukammil Shah
ABSTRACT:
The three design-driven guiding concepts of the research are eliminating waste and pollution, distributing resources and commodities at the best price, and restoring the natural environment. The circular economy (CE) is an approach to real estate development that aims to address the pressing problems of resource depletion and environmental deterioration. Reduce, reprocess, and recycle are the three R’s of CE. All materials are recycled, all energy is derived from renewable sources, activities support and rebuild the system, promote human health and a healthy society, and resources are used to create value, according to the guiding principles. This study could serve as a survey of the rapidly expanding body of knowledge on CE that examines its origins and contemporary usage while evaluating its implementation from November 2015 to November 2022. The study also includes a practitioner’s evaluation of the design, execution, and efficiency of CE-related policies. It begins by outlining the notion of CE and contrasting it with the current linear economy of obtaining raw resources, producing goods, and discarding garbage. This justifies the need to shift away from a linear economy and toward regenerative industrial growth via a closed-loop system. The following section of the article outlines guidelines for the evaluation of CE’s performance and describes existing practices. Here, the emphasis is mostly on outlining the information analysis of important CE indicators to present a picture of CE practices. Third, the study analyses the fundamental problems and difficulties to CE from an entrepreneurial viewpoint, backed by a literature analysis. The evaluation concludes with policy recommendations for CE’s future growth as a component of the creative and entrepreneurial associate in national level development plan.
