ABSTRACT:

Deviant behaviour has its own dynamics and is systematically subject to changes, which, in our opinion, must be understood and taken into account by a specialist working with difficult adolescents. Timely measures are needed to minimize and correct this behaviour. Our work shows the main significant conditions of deviant behaviour and presents a Program for the correction of such behaviour in adolescents through intellectual, board games. This correction program is a new complex of correctional-educational and correctional-developmental work. The correction work carried out is based on diagnostic data using an extensive set of methods. The results of the implementation of the program for the correction of deviant behaviour by means of intellectual games and diagnostic assessment of the personal qualities of the teenager indicate a very high degree of its correction efficiency. Changes in the communicative-aggressiveness coefficients, self-esteem level, anxiety level, frustration indicators, rigidity were revealed, the level of goodwill and cynicism changed. But changes in these personal qualities occur very ambiguously. Consequently, the analysis of correction must be carried out necessarily based on the individual-typological characteristics and characteristics of the psychophysical development of the teenager, as well as the socio-psychological qualities of the personality. Therefore, expert activity consists of socio-psychological monitoring and tracking the dynamics of the teenager’s development in the chosen direction of correctional and developmental work, as well as in organizational meetings.
