ABSTRACT:

Article explores the personal experiences as an HR manager who has integrated yoga and mindfulness-based practices into the workplace. The study draws on a review of relevant literature on the topic of wellbeing at work, as well as semi-structured interviews with people who have participated in the yoga and mindfulness workshops facilitated by the author. The findings highlight the profound impact that a holistic approach to employee wellbeing can have on both individual and organizational outcomes, including increased job satisfaction, enhanced work-life balance, improved productivity, and a more positive overall work culture. The implications of this study suggest that HR professionals play a critical role in shaping the psychosocial work environment and promoting the holistic wellbeing of employees, which can unlock the true potential of the workforce and lead to enhanced organizational performance. This paper further explores the specific ways in which the integration of yoga and mindfulness practices into the workplace can contribute to these positive outcomes, providing insights and strategies for HRD professionals to implement in their own organizations. The integration of yoga and mindfulness practices into the workplace has the potential to foster a more fulfilling and impactful work environment, where employees can thrive both personally and professionally. By prioritizing the holistic wellbeing of the workforce, organizations can unlock new levels of engagement, creativity, and collaborative spirit, ultimately driving greater success and impact.
