Designing Integrated Environmental Education Curriculum in Preschools
Climate change is increasing the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events.With the increasing awareness of extreme weather events, environmental protection has received more and more attention and discussion. In Taiwan, schools at all levels are also committed to promoting various environmental education, hoping to provide students with opportunities to get closer and have better knowledge of the environmental protection. Environmental literacy should be cultivated as early as possible while children are still young. As for preschools, emphasized the development of whole children, the preschool curriculum outline is mainly divided into six major areas. This study demonstrates how to design integrated environmental education curriculum and suitable activities for young children.
