With the fast development of digital products, more and more children are exposed to digital-media products. It is common to see parents using digital media as a parenting tool to entertain, distract or comfort their children. In this study, we investigated current status of parents on their children’s use of digital-media products at home. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect the data in a preschool in Taiwan. The result of this study shows the current status of children’s use of digital-media products. This study also proposed proper ways of using digital-media of young children.
