Key Factors of a Successful Quality Management System and Challenges of Implementation in Industrial Companies

ABSTRACT:
Nowadays, the significance accorded to quality it is well known by managers especially in this competitive dynamic business environment. The basis of a quality organization is an effective quality management system and even though many businesses may not have large resources available to put into quality management, it can still be done effectively. These rigorous processes, can increase the economic and quality value of products and services. They work to improve the experience of the customers, which, is crucial when it comes to ensuring customer retention. It is now clear that high quality products have a special advantage in the market and moreover the market share can be won or lost based on the quality. It is the only factor that ensures the survival and the growth of an organization.
The purpose of this paper is to explore 5 production companies that have lately implemented quality management systems. The study is based on a mix method collection strategy and have elaborated quantitative and qualitative data in these representative companies. The results of this work have shown some of the most important key factors of the Quality Management System which have generated positive income and moreover some of the main challenges that these industrial companies have faced during the stages of implementation. The paper has achieved conclusions that demonstrated the full strength and the importance of the Quality management system in a long run term.
