This research studies gender and international relations in MENA region. It scrutinises Arab women’s role and representation in diplomacy and foreign affairs. The purpose of the study is to explore the status of women diplomates in the region and to identify the necessary strategies to promote women in IR. The research focuses mainly on women in IR leading positions and their role in MENA peace building, decision making and conflict solving.
