ABSTRACT:

This study is part of the ECALFOR project -Evaluation of teacher training in Latin America and the Caribbean. Quality assurance of education degrees- (618625-EPP-1-2020-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP). Its objective is to describe how quality management is carried out in the HEIs of reference and to establish the baseline of the state of implementation of quality assurance processes from which to design plans and promote actions to extend, deepen and improve them. In this study, the information from the HEIs involved in the ECALFOR project is analysed in a comparative manner. The study is descriptive in nature. The information analysed corresponds to the bodies responsible for the Quality Assurance Systems, their composition and functions, the specific processes carried out in each of the seven agreed quality management guidelines, and has evidence that exemplifies the different processes described.
