Change of High School Students’ Attitude regarding Perceived Use of Ease of Online-Live-Teaching

ABSTRACT:
In the study, I investigated to measure the change of attitudes towards online-live-teaching of 7th graders’ before and after going through the experiment. The approach for the analysis, I utilized is a True Experimental Design, pre and post-test control group. The experiment is conducted with the students enrolled in a government high school located in a rural setting of Balochistan with the purpose of having electricity and a computer lab. For the experiment, I selected all the 7th graders of sampled schools which were 104 in total. The 7th graders were randomly distributed among three groups A, B, and C using SPSS. The A and B groups were experimental groups having a slight difference between the two. Group A receives the experience of online live teaching in the absence of an assistant. At the same time, group B also receives instruction via online-live-teaching also but has an assistant who can support group B with mic setting, screen setting, online class connectivity, checking the classwork, and controlling the 7th graders. Group C is the control group that receives the instructions in traditional face-to-face teaching usually. For teaching all three groups, the same school mathematics teacher and textbook are selected. The results are concluded using the paired sample t-test. The results display a significant change of attitudes in experimental groups A and B but no changes were observed in the attitudes of groups C towards online live teaching.
