Adrian Iura
ABSTRACT:
This paper will investigate the various strategies used by nations to finance their defense sectors, emphasizing the crucial role of efficient resource allocation in maintaining national security. The first part of this article outlines the objectives of the study and presents the main research questions. The scope is defined to include various methods that are based on statistical analysis derived from financing methods that are based on statistical analysis derived from financing methods and their effectiveness, with the primary aim of influencing policy makers. The methodology applied emphasizes a mixed-method approach, which will combine primary data from global analysis and secondary surveys drawn from government reports and unclassified financial documents. Both qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques will be used to ensure comprehensive coverage of research questions. In the content of the case study, I will conduct a comparative analysis for two countries that are part of the North Atlantic Alliance on the level of spending and funding of military budgets since 2014. From this comparative analysis I will be able to draw the necessary conclusions to formulate common models and unique strategies that could be applied as a standardization across the North Atlantic Alliance countries. At the end of the article, I will highlight the mechanisms that are already in use compared to what could be used to achieve more effective budget planning in the sphere of national defence budget planning.
