Research on the Application of Ecosystem Service Value Assessment in Sustainable Development of Ecological Economy

ABSTRACT:
With the increasingly severe global ecological environment problems, ecological economic evaluation has become an important tool for achieving sustainable development. This article is based on the theoretical framework of Ecosystem Service Value (ESV) and combines interdisciplinary methods such as ecological economics and environmental resources to construct a comprehensive evaluation system for regional ecological economy. The study takes typical ecologically fragile areas/urban agglomerations/watersheds as case studies, and uses methods such as equivalent factor method, market value method, and contingent valuation method (CVP) to quantify the economic value of ecosystems in four categories of services: supply, regulation, support, and culture. The potential losses of ecosystem degradation to regional economic development are also analyzed.
