Madhumathy P, Punitha Devi C
ABSTRACT:
The relentless race towards advanced technologies as well as advancing the technologies for better performance and easier work is becoming the new normal in all firms and businesses, at the same time the challenge encountered in this process is that the employees of the organization need to keep up with the pace of this technological run and hence need to be trained periodically.
Traditional training systems rely on standardized content delivery and one size fits all feedback systems. This limits their ability to address individual learning needs. This study proposes and empirically examines a personalized training intervention framework aimed at improving employee learning outcomes in online corporate training environments. The framework utilizes the learner engagement/performance data to deliver adaptive as well as behavior aware nudges and aims to provide feedback tailored for individual progress. The model is trained using a publicly available learning analytics dataset modelled as a corporate training context, experimental results indicate significant improvement in course completion, timely task submission and learning performance compared to conventional training system. The findings contribute to the pre-existing literature works on digital training and human resource development by demonstrating the effectiveness of personalized interventions in enhancing workforce skill development.
